Three Apps I Built Outside Client Work: a WhatsApp Order Bot, a Card Game Scoreboard and a Budget Judge

Alek Nur Fatman · 3 min read

Outside client work I build small products for problems I keep running into. Three of them are live: a WhatsApp bot that logs orders for small businesses, an offline scoreboard for physical trading card game matches, and a budget app that tells you whether you can afford something. Here is what each one does, who it is for, and where to find it.

Bot WhatsApp UMKM: log orders straight from WhatsApp

Many small businesses in Indonesia take orders over WhatsApp and then copy them into a notebook or Excel, where they get missed or mistyped. Bot WhatsApp UMKM lets staff keep chatting the way they already do, for example "tambah order 2 galon buat Bu Ani", and an AI reads the message and writes the order into the owner's Google Sheet. There is no new app to install.

Each staff member can only see and change the orders they created; only the owner can see everything and delete data, and the data lives in the owner's own Google Sheets. One honest caveat: it uses an unofficial WhatsApp API rather than Meta's official Business API, so there is a small risk of the number being banned, which is why a dedicated business number is recommended. The page is in Indonesian and there is a free 14-day trial.

TCG Damage Tracker: a scoreboard for physical card game matches

TCG Damage Tracker replaces dice and scrap paper in two-player physical trading card game matches. It is a split-screen scoreboard: the top panel can rotate 180 degrees so both players read their own side, with HP and damage buttons, special conditions with the exclusivity rules applied for you, prize cards, a round timer and up to 50 steps of undo.

Everything stays on the phone. There is no account and it works offline. The app is free, with an optional one-time Pro upgrade that adds card scanning, quick pick, match history, match stats and no ads. It is on Google Play for Android, and it is an independent fan-made tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies behind any card game.

Cart Court: a budget judge for the moment before you tap Buy

Cart Court is for the moment right before you buy. You type a price, or add up to eight items to a cart, and it compares that with your real numbers (income, fixed expenses, savings and this month's surprises) and gives one verdict: BUY IT, THINK AGAIN or DON'T. YOU'RE POOR.

If the answer is no, it shows how many months of saving it would take to get to a yes, and lets you turn the item into a savings goal. You choose the attitude (Friendly, Regular or Savage) and the judge, and you can share a verdict as a poster, a story or a receipt. There is no bank login and everything stays on the device. It works in English and Bahasa Indonesia and is on Google Play.
